Masai Mara Molichino

There are some outfits I seem to reach for again and again, and nothing is quite as easy and stylish to toss on than a casual chic jumpsuit for a little bit of glam spur of the moment.  The Masai Suit by Molichino is just such a piece.  It is one of the four great new offerings in tribal inspired colors and prints from Molichino exclusively for Masai Mara.  I’m wearing the brown print , though in truth, the term brown is an understatement.  It is a lovely blend of gold, maize, black and brown, all with a luscious silken sheen.

The Masai Mara event is also enabling me to indulge in my love of ethnic hairs, including this beauty, Oscar, from Lelutka, which can be worn with or without the braid.  Finally, for a little bit of juice, I blended the golds and browns of my jumpsuit with some berry accents for a bit of color pop.

The Vision: To Give Disadvantaged Children a Good Future

Tunza comes from the Swahili word meaning “to care for” and that is the goal of The Mama Tunza Children’s Home.  There are an estimated 1,659,000 orphans in Kenya, approximately 126 or which call The Mama Tunza Children’s Home their home, and for which the Masai Mara event has been organized.  The mission of the center is to provide a home, nourishment, and education to disadvantaged children, many of whom are orphans, many of whom are HIV positive.

Your visit to the Masai Mara Solidarity Store is shopping for a great cause, helping to spread the mission and raise funds to provide a better life for these children.  There are so many beautiful exclusives available, and even 100L helps to feed a child.  Here is just one of the lovely offerings, the Zebra Showgirl by Russh Lussh for Masai Mara.  This is an outfit you can strut your stuff in, and it carries with it the spirit of celebration.

You can help put a smile on a needy child’s face.  Mama Tunza Video Link.

I want to remind you that MASAI MARA THE SOLIDARITY STORE  is open until September 30th, so you can still shop donating to a worthy cause in Africa.

Today I have chosen a skin and a mesh dress in three versions, wonderful feelings and amazing textures.

The skin is MASAI MARA from Ooh-la-licious Skins, there are four tones from Brown sugar, to Cocoa, to Chocolate and Espresso, in various shades of intensity. They all look magnificent and very feminine,  for once I had to add more than one close up to show you the great golden lips and skin tone in the superb cleavage.

The dress is AALIYAH  by Topazia, an elegant mesh dress where you can find both texture and leather to create a sophisticated look that comes straight from the savannah!

Remember to shop at MASAI MARA, start now your Xmas shopping at MASAI MARA!

Enjoy!

Masai Mara Roar’in Mix and Match

Original post by Nyree Soulstar

I had a roar’in good time putting together this mix and match with some wonderful designs from the generous designers of Masai Mara.  Each of these exclusives donates money to help Mama Tunza’s Childrens Home in Kenya.

To begin my “big cat” theme, is this bold tone-on-tone lion-printed Le Lion dress from Miss Darcy.  It is great as a casual mini-dress, or for layering, like I did over Nieva Kumasi’s jeans with cheetah inserts.  Also making me purr, and continuing with my theme, is the Shambala Necklace, also in Cheetah, and Leo Casandra bag with its fun iPhone in one pocket, and camera in the other.

Let’s talk hair.  If we are focused on cats, well one must have a tail, so I chose this long mesh Britney braid from EMO-tions.  One thing I have to say about EMO-tions, particularly some of their newer hairs out…they have some of the most creative hairbases.  The Britney hairbase has swept bangs tucked behind the right ear, hints at a part, then is pulled up and back, on the left side, perfect for a hair clip, like the new group gift hair brooch from Vendome and some pretty dangle earrings from the Kenya Elephants in Love set for Masai Mara.

And of course, a Masai Mara post wouldn’t be complete without a Thank You Song from the children of Mama Tunza’s you are all helping with your generous support.

Styling:

Hair: Britney Dark Brown – EMO-tions
